In addition to being licensed by the California Department of Health Services and Medicare certified, San Leandro Surgery Center has been awarded the certificate of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). This award means that San Leandro Surgery Center has met nationally recognized standards for quality health care set by this accrediting agency. San Leandro Surgery Center won the AAAHC prestigious Innovations in Quality Award in 2006 which was presented at the Institute's National Quality Forum in New Orleans, demonstrating our continued commitment to the quality and safety of our patients.
