At San Leandro Surgery Center we promote excellence in both same day surgery and overnight stays (23 hour 59 minute).

The Center prides itself on its pleasant and comfortable surroundings, and provides a caring and healing environment for its patients.  Nurses meet the highest patient care standards and treat each patient as our special guest. 

Surgeons using  San Leandro Surgery Center are appropriately credentialed and have been granted specific privileges, based on licensure, education, training and current experience.  

Your physician may have an ownership

interest in San Leandro Surgery Center, and if such an interest is of concern to you, please discuss it with your physician  

All of our nurses are RN's and have current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).  

Nursing activities center on the needs of our patients.

Meals and ample complimentary parking are available.

Financial Considerations

San Leandro Surgery Center accepts most major commercial insurance, HMO/PPO plans, Medicare and Workers Compensation. 

Surgical preauthorization must be coordinated by the Doctors office and the Surgery Center prior to your admission. You should always bring your health insurance card with you.

As a courtesy, we bill your insurance.  Please remember that health-care coverage is a contract between you and the insurance company. We will make every effort to expedite your claim and help you complete the payment arrangements. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for their account. We accept Master Charge, Visa, personal checks, cashiers checks and cash.
